Taylor Swift just said yes to a forever love story with Travis Kelce.
After nearly a year of dating, the Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are engaged, they shared on Augst 26.
As the couple announced in a joint post, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The accompanying photos showed Travis down on one knee in an ethereal garden laden in pink and white roses. The subsequent images showed the couple embracing, as well as a close up look of Taylor’s gorgeous diamond ring.
Taylor and Travis, both 35, first sparked romance rumors in the summer of 2023, after the athlete attended the “Blank Space” singer’s Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium, where his attempt to give her a friendship bracelet was intercepted.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis said on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce. “So I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
