Convicted murderer Megan Boswell to be sentenced in Sullivan County on Friday

BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (WCYB) — Boswell has been sentenced to 33 years that will run consecutively with her life sentence.

News 5’s Kristen Quon will have more later on News 5.

Convicted murderer Megan Boswell is set to be sentenced Friday in Sullivan County.

A jury found Megan Boswell guilty in February of murdering her daughter, Evelyn Boswell.

The jury recommended a sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole after 51 years.

Evelyn’s remains were found in March 2020. She was reported missing in February 2020 but had not been seen since December 2019.
