BOULDER, Colo. (KKTV) – An Amber Alert has been issued for a teenager who may have been kidnapped in Boulder.
According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, witnesses saw two men forcing 16-year-old Jasmin Zapata into a pickup truck around 8 Monday night. The vehicle was last seen an hour later on Thornton Parkway and Gale Boulevard.
Jasmin is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-5 and 110 pounds, with brown hair and black eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with black pants.
At the time of this writing, CBI has only identified one of the suspects, 19-year-old Juan Bretado, described as Hispanic, 5-foot-8 and having brown hair and black eyes.
The vehicle is a gray, two-door Chevy Silverado with Colorado license plate AXW-L52. There is a lime green “Timpano” sticker on the bottom left rear windshield.
Anyone with information on Jasmin or the vehicle’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately or call the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-3333.
