Memphis football injury report for American Conference opener at FAU

BOCA RATON, FL — Memphis football will be without a few contributors for its American Conference opener at FAU.

Running back Makari Bodiford is out, according to Memphis’ injury report. He has played a role early in the season as the goal-line back, and that could open up more opportunities for Frank Peasant.

Cornerback Chauncey Logan is also out. He started the first two games of the season.

The American Conference has instituted availability reports for the first time, but the rules apply only for conference games.

Memphis vs. FAU will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPN2.

  • DB Kourtlan Marsh (out for season)
  • DB Chauncey Logan
  • DB Shannon Blair
  • DE Chase Carter
  • DB Cameron Miller
  • RB Makari Bodiford
  • K Oliver Castaneda
  • LB Cade Law

Who’s in for Memphis against Florida Atlantic

Running back Greg Desrosiers missed two games with an apparent foot injury, but he returned in last week’s win over Arkansas and is not on the injury report.

He had nine carries against Arkansas and could be in line for more work against the Owls.
