Roof collapses, semis flip at Walmart Distribution Center in Sanger

SANGER, Texas (KXII) – The roof of a Walmart Distribution Center collapsed during severe storms in Sanger on Sunday evening.

According to Denton County Emergency Management, the hole left from the collapse was 50 feet in size.

Several first responder crews arrived to clear the scene of the collapse, which also saw two overturned 18-wheelers.

Everyone inside of the building was able to evacuate safely and leave the premises.

Denton County EM is still working to figure out the cause of the collapse, and whether or not it was caused by a tornado.
