India’s Historic Quest for First Women’s ODI Series Win Against Australia

0

India is poised for a historic triumph as they face Australia in the deciding match of their three-game women’s ODI series, with a rare opportunity to secure their first series win against the world champions on Saturday.

The Indian team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, seeks to build on their stunning 102-run victory, India’s first win in 12 matches against Australia. Despite the victory, fielding performance remains a concern, with India dropping several crucial catches.

Australia’s captain Alyssa Healy acknowledges her team’s shortcomings in the previous game and emphasizes the importance of learning from this experience. The Australians are preparing to return strong for upcoming challenges, eyeing to adjust to the challenges and regain momentum for the World Cup.

Four-time Grammy-winner announces upcoming 4th of July show in Denver

0

Nowadays, it’s probably difficult to find many people in the United States who haven’t heard the hit song ‘Thinking Out Loud‘ – it’s been played at weddings for close to a decade and won two Grammys in 2016, including ‘Song of the Year.’ Coloradans will now have a chance to see if performed live, as long as it makes artist Ed Sheeran’s set list on the night of July 4, 2026.

Sheeran announced an upcoming tour on the morning of September 18, including events across North America. His July 4 stop is set to be at Empower Field at Mile High.

Those interested in attending can find more information on his website, including information about pre-sale opportunities.

Empower Field at Mile High can hold more than 75,000 concertgoers, but this one is sure to sell out fast. It will be one of the city’s major Fourth of July events. Those looking to see this four-time Grammy winner will want to jump on those tickets sooner rather than later.

‘Kerosene’ ignites a ‘sisterhood’ between Miranda Lambert & Ella Langley

0

Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley marked the 20th anniversary of Miranda’s Kerosene by duetting on the title track at the ACM Awards in May, sparking a friendship that’s only grown.

“I love her,” Miranda says. “We’ve been writing together and I’m just helping with part of her next era, I guess, in her music. And I love being there to help guide whatever she needs because I just think she’s our next legend, and I’m excited to see when the world figures that out.”

“I think it’s happening now, which is amazing,” she adds.

That same night, Miranda debuted “Trailblazer” with Reba McEntire and Lainey Wilson, just another expression of the bond between the women of country music.

“I feel like I’m like big sister [to Ella],” Miranda says, “and we[‘ve] got Lainey, middle sister, and we[‘ve] got Reba, older sister, and it just feels like a good sisterhood to be in.”

Miranda, Lainey and Ella will all vie for the female vocalist trophy at November’s CMA Awards.
