Even though he’s not at the Emmys 2025, Mike White is still living a very comfortable life.
After all, Parker Posey—who played wealthy housewife Victoria Ratliff in season three of the HBO show—exclusively told Live From E!: 2025 Emmys correspondent Heather McMahan at the Sept. 14 award ceremony that the showrunner is “in the south of France now, so that’s where season four’s gonna be.” (Click here to see all the celebrities on the red carpet.)
However, the 56-year-old—who was nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for her work on the HBO series—added that her character’s fate is still up in the air. As she put it of the upcoming season, “I have no idea if I’m in it.”
So far, each season of The White Lotus has been set at a fictitious hotel in a different location—beginning with Hawaii in season one, followed by Italy and Thailand for its second and third installments, respectively. But earlier this year, producers hinted that season four may be returning to continent the show previously explored.
Cowboys signing veteran pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney
The Dallas Cowboys brought in veteran pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney last week for a visit and workout. He left without a deal, but the team kept close eyes on the situation. After beating the New York Giants on Sunday, team owner Jerry Jones announced that the team was signing Clowney.
Clowney brings multiple things that the Cowboys could use some help with. Since he came into the NFL in 2014, Clowney has been one of the league’s better run defenders on the edge, and stopping the run has been a bugaboo for the Cowboys for a while. Although he’s in his 12th year, Clowney can also still rush the passer. Two years ago, he tallied 9.5 sacks for the Baltimore Ravens and had 5.5 sacks in 2024 for the Carolina Panthers where he was 20th in pass-rush win rate for all edge rushers.

With Clowney signed, the Cowboys now have a very solid veteran rotation on the edge with Dante Fowler, Sam Williams, and James Houston on the roster. Mixed with youngsters Marshawn Kneeland and Donovan Ezeiruaku, the edge room is certainly an area of potential for the Cowboys.
Broncos Patrick Surtain, 2024 NFL defensive player of the year, leaves, returns vs Colts
UPDATE: Pat Surtain returned to the game at the end of the first half.
INDIANAPOLIS — The 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain left Sunday’s game against the Colts with an apparent left ankle injury. His status is questionable to return.

The injury happened away from the play, with Surtain, a Denver Broncos cornerback, covering Michael Pittman Jr. He appeared to go down with no contact.
Surtain was helped to the medical tent with the help of two members of the Broncos’ staff. He has left the tent after approximately 10 minutes and appeared to be testing his leg on the sideline.

Nick Sogard News: Idle Sunday
Sogard is out of the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Yankees.
Sogard had started at right field or second base in four of the Red Sox’s last five games, but he’ll hit the bench Sunday while Rob Refsnyder and Romy Gonzalez occupy those respective positions. Since being called up from Triple-A Worcester on Sept. 3, Sogard has gone 7-for-21 with two doubles, two runs, one stolen base and four RBI in six games. He could continue to see fairly steady at-bats until the Red Sox get Wilyer Abreu (calf) back from the injured list.

Phillies postseason bound for fourth consecutive season – NBC10 Philadelphia
Sunday might not have ended in a clubhouse champagne celebration and a clinch of the NL East for the Phillies but there’s still grounds to celebrate.
With the Dodgers’ 10-2 win over the Giants, the Phillies have officially secured their fourth straight trip to the playoffs.
They can send a quick thanks to the Dodgers before shifting gears Monday when the Phillies open up a three-game series in Los Angeles. There’s still a ton to play for, including a first-round bye, awarded to the top two seeds. The Phillies currently have a 4.5-game lead over the Dodgers for the No. 2 seed and are up 2-1 in the tiebreaker.
The Phillies’ magic number for securing the NL East sits at one. Clinching the division rests solely in the Phillies’ hands Monday as the Mets have the day off.
It’s simple, win and in. Or, since they’re already in … win and claim the division for the second straight season.

Buffalo Bills Rivalries jersey is among uniform options this season
The Bills’ new Nike Rivalries jerseys are now available for purchase online and in-store.
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills revealed their new Nike Rivalries jerseys late last month. Fans had to wait until Wednesday, though, to get their hands on one for themselves.
The Bills announced Wednesday that the “cold front” jerseys are now for sale at the Bills store, both in store and online. These blue, white and silver tops will be worn Oct. 5 when they take on the New England Patriots at Highmark Stadium in Week 5.
That game is on the “Sunday Night Football” lineup and will air on NBC and Channel 2.

Even former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady found it tough to dislike the jersey. He said he liked the Bills’ low-poly chrome sleeve logo, which he called “kind of intimidating.” It’s a feature that the Bills said “incorporates the charging Buffalo on the sleeves and the texture will have unique glares under different lighting.”
The uniform also features a center stripe on the helmet designed to look like ice, and other details to help give it a “frosty” look.
“I don’t think Bills fans love me very much, but I will say this is a top-tier jersey,” Brady said.
