Mariners win streak 2025

The Seattle Mariners are on a five-game win streak, and one fan says a little “magic” may have been involved.

Steven Blackburn of Lake Stevens joked on social media that he had hired a witch on Etsy to lift a curse on the team.

He said he never expected anything to come of it, but the Mariners went on to score 28 runs in just two days after his request.

The Mariners won three more after that, and they are just 1 game out of first in the AL West.

“I said, ‘Hey, can you please help the Mariners get out of a funk?’ I didn’t expect it to go anywhere. I was just hoping for the best, and then all of a sudden they score 28 runs in two days,” Blackburn said.

Fans online quickly tied the timing of the scoring spree to Blackburn’s lighthearted post, and even the Mariners’ official account chimed in, acknowledging the unusual streak of good fortune.

Blackburn said the post was meant as a joke, but it struck a chord with fellow fans eager for something to rally behind late in the season.

The suggestion of a curse being lifted has now become part of the team’s ongoing storyline.

The Mariners return to action Friday night at T-Mobile Park, where they begin a series against the Los Angeles Angels.

With the winning streak and a newfound “lucky charm,” fans are watching to see if the run of success continues.

Ralph Lauren Opens New York Fashion Week

American fashion designer Ralph Lauren kicked off New York Fashion Week with a collection that highlighted mostly monochrome looks.

“I really feel this as one of the few designers who’s absolutely timeless. You can wear him in 1992 and wear the same thing again now, and it still feels like it’s present — prescient.” “It would be enough if he was a designer, but he’s just like one of the great Americans.”

iPhone Air – Apple

The all-new iPhone Air is so impossibly thin and light that it nearly disappears in your hand. At 5.6 mm and weighing just 165 grams, it’s the thinnest iPhone ever — even with a large, immersive 6.5‑inch display and the power of the A19 Pro chip. It’s a paradox you have to hold to believe.
