From Taken to Retribution, I’m always game for a Liam Neeson thriller, and there is a new one on my list that is currently making waves on Netflix.

Ice Road: Vengeance is the latest release in the genre from the 73-year-old star, and it currently holds the number one spot on the platform. A sequel to 2021’s The Ice Road, Neeson reprises his role as Mike McCann, an American ice road trucker. This time, a grieving McCann travels to Nepal to fulfill his late brother’s final wish of having his ashes scattered on Mt. Everest. While there, he meets a skilled local Everest guide, and together they join a group of passengers aboard the Kiwi Express tour bus. 

But it wouldn’t be a Liam Neeson movie without some hard-hitting action, which is exactly what viewers get when the bus is hijacked by two mercenaries in an attempt to kidnap one of the passengers. The trailer alone gives me goosebumps as it shows the hijacking in action in chilling temperatures, and Neeson kicking butt as usual.
